Sensing and control systems, including lidar, machine vision and the control hardware that processes it, give robots the perception layer they need to operate safely around people and unpredictable environments. This segment overlaps with automotive ADAS in some of its underlying sensor technology, but the reliability and cost bar for humanoid robotics is arguably even higher given the closer physical proximity to people.
